Perfect for girls night out. Great ambiance! Loved the wine list and the chocolate is excellent.

Good restaurant in the area, sitting outside is nice for a cool day.The peppermint chocolate martini was really fantastic. The cheese platter was small, but enjoyable. We went on ladies night and enjoyed too much.

We also had a cheese plate to share which was great (but a little small). But for what it was the place is really affordable. Its super hip too, I thought. I love the steel and and wood look its very modern and swanky feeling, which really goes with the fantastic menu.

I was on a business trip and my hotel was in the neighborhood. Usually I like to stay dwontwon closer to the better restaurants, but I couldn't get anything and was disappointed. That is, until the hotel recommended Ayza. I have to say I was skeptical, but Ayza was really nice. They hav ea nice wine list with all sorts of great things by the glass -- I went with the Pinot which was nice, but the Summers Cab was even better. I had the Asian Steak Tartrare which was phenomenal, followed be the bass, also very good. I liked it so much I ended up going back the net night and tried the filet -- a little overpriced for the portion, but since the company was paying it didn't matter, and it allowed me to save room for dessert, which I'd highly recommend. I had this crepe cake which is like nothing I've tasted before -- they fire the top of it, and it's so smooth and nice

My husband and I went to another restaurant for dinner on our anniversary and then passed this place and decided to stop in for dessert. Wish wed just eaten here too. It was romantic and friendly even if the music was a little loud. We had the crepe cake on the servers recommendation and it was excellent.
Comment on Papilles's Review of Ayza Chocolate and Wine Bar
The dangerous part about coming here for lunch is that its so tempting to get wine. Then I want to stay all afternoon and I cant. Especially not that the outside is open. Sit outside with lunch and a little vino? Damn, wish I didnt have to work.
One word Hummus! I dont know what they do to it, but I told the server it should be a main dish. (And I am a hummus expert.)
